Hotel Eco Guest House
Our friends at the Hotel Eco will welcome you in and make you feel at home for a modest price while providing you with the basics needed for a comfortable stay. With a small coffee shop downstairs and restaurants of every type and flavor within an easy walk being the primary benefit to their great location in the expatriate district of Thamel. This location makes them a great choice for those looking to get out and intermingle with other travelers while still maintaining their budget.
Valley Guest House
For a bit more private and relaxed stay in Kathmandu we’re happy to arrange a stay in the Valley Guest House located in the Boudha district for you. This lovely bed and breakfast style guest house is in a small private compound located next to the famous Boudha Temple, the center of the Buddhist religion here in Kathmandu. The area provides a more relaxed and less hectic view of Kathmandu than tourist-popular Thamel while still providing plenty of small coffee shops and an extensive shopping area to roam through during your stay. The Guest House itself provides an exemplary level of care with a back up generator and free wifi to help overcome a few of the inconsistencies still plaguing Kathmandu. There is an on-site restaurant should you not wish to stray too far for a meal.
