Our Pledge to you, your hosts, and the environment
Both Alpine Treks and VEC believe that we can create jobs, provide a unique trekking experience, and protect the environment simultanteously, and this is the model we follow. We believe in a "pack in, pack out" model of bringing out or properly disposing of any garbage you pack with you. The profits from treks also go toward projects that will promote conservation and eco-friendly/sustainable living practices, ensuring that local communities in the areas we operate will have the resources to provide for future generations. As a member of The International Ecotourism Society, we have made this our mission.
